Florence Samura

Animator at the daycare, canteen and club

I am bilingual of Sierra Leonean and Liberian origin. I started learning French when I was 8 years old. I managed to improve my French thanks to my schooling in different countries such as Burkina Faso, Guinea, Kenya and finally France. These opportunities allowed me to exploit my language skills and to discover various universes and cultures.

My dream job is to become a school teacher because from an early age I was passionate about education and children. So my goal was to make my dreams a reality. To accomplish this, I obtained a degree in Education Science and a Master’s degree in Teaching, Education and Training in Lyon.

In parallel with my studies, I started babysitting, but also working in after-school activities and in camps to have professional experiences with children. Today, I have been an animator for almost 4 years and have shared my hobbies with many children. I love dancing, cooking, crocheting and design.

At EBiHS I want to share my interpersonal skills and make children want to learn English in an engaging way. I believe in the importance of sharing values and social skills to children and I wish to help children develop psychosocial skills, explore their creativity, and improve their self-confidence.
