I was born and raised in the Rainbow nation of South Africa. Growing up in such a diverse and multilingual country led me to fall in love with traveling and gave me the desire to learn about many different cultures.
In the last couple of years, my travels have taken me to many places, from Holland to China and Hong Kong. After getting married and having a baby boy, we have happily decided to finally settle down in France.
I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communication & Culture which opened my eyes to a new world of languages and cultures outside my own country. I always wished I had gotten this knowledge at a young age and so I decided to change careers and pursue teaching young children. After this experience, I decided to obtain my TEFL after a year as an au pair in the Netherlands. I’ve since accumulated 4 years teaching experience in Shanghai, Suzhou and Hong Kong in Training Centers in Public Kindergarten and Elementary Schools.
Learning should always be fun and push students to explore the world and ask questions. Those values are central to my classroom. I pride myself on bringing energy and always creating a safe space for my students to grow and learn.
