Jacqui Sisto

Kindergarten teacher (native English speaker)

’m English and grew up in the UK. I qualified as a primary teacher from Westminster College, Oxford University and specialised in French for children aged 5-13.

I then arrived in France in 1995 and put my Bachelor of Education degree, TEFL diploma and teaching skills to practice. After 7 years of teaching English as a second language to children, students and business professionals, I changed my career path and entered the Salomon marketing and communication department. Having developed my communication skill set, I then went on to establish a communication team for a medical association in Geneva, before deciding that I really wanted to return to my first love: teaching!

In 2019, I refreshed my teaching knowledge by completing a one-year Post-Graduate Course in Education back in the UK and then taught year 4 and 5 in the UK, before returning to France. Since September 2021, I have taught early years pupils in bilingual schools in France and Switzerland.

Having raised my own 3 children as bilingual speakers, I am very keen to develop the bilingual skills of the children attending EBiHS.
