Thomas Joie

A lawyer at the Annecy Bar, Thomas has a multicultural background that has fostered his interest in human rights, drawing inspiration from figures such as Nelson Mandela. He holds a PhD in Public Law as well as Master’s degrees in International Law and International Relations from Jean Moulin University Lyon 3. He also improved his English through a stay in London.
Before becoming a lawyer, he was a research associate at a sustainable development international law center and a lecturer in international law in France and Burkina Faso. He also worked in two diplomatic missions in Geneva.
Convinced of the importance of education, he enthusiastically joined the EBiHS association, sharing its values of openness, tolerance, and kindness.
