Magdalena Geiger

Enseignante au collège : Allemand

Born in Austria, I studied there all my schooling and obtained a Master’s degree in International Economic and Social Sciences.

Very early in my professional life, I set out to teach, while becoming passionate about volleyball as a teenager, then mathematics, English and music alongside my studies.

In 2011, I started teaching in my mother tongue German in Vienna. My students from abroad made me want to leave my native Austria and come to France to learn a new language.

I then joined a program in France as a language assistant in schools and especially in college and high school. This work allowed me to live and work in France while improving my level of French language. I naturally decided to stay in Annecy and make my life there.

Today I have the chance to teach German to highly engaged and motivated EBiHS middle school students. In this international setting, I feel at home.
