Geoffrey Roubin
Enseignant anglophone en élémentaire
I became a teacher by chance but I continue to be one by passion. Indeed, I first studied film and philosophy at a master’s level but I realized that teaching was what I find most fulfilling. I later obtained a CELTA and a PGCE in order to turn my passion into a career. I’ve been an educator in diverse school settings: public, English international, and French bilingual in Vietnam, in Italy, and now in Annecy. I feel enriched by these varied experiences which I am delighted to share with EBIHS.
I am thrilled to join the EBIHS to contribute to its mission and foster its values: imagination, resilience, and open-mindedness are 3 values that I hold dear. Being an educator goes beyond teaching school subjects. It is an opportunity to help one affirm their independence, as well as develop their creativity and critical thinking.
