As a French-Canadian who recently moved to Annecy, my career lies at the intersection of the arts, culture, and education. Originally trained in theater, I hold a Master’s degree in theater from the Université duQuébec à Montréal. For eight years, I was active in Montreal’s arts community as an actress, playwright, director, and cultural mediator.

The projects in which I participated allowed me to discover the richness of theater as a tool for connection, expression, and the development of thought. Through my work with children, the desire to share my knowledge and support them in their growth emerged naturally, leading me toward teaching.

I then earned a Master’s degree in Preschool and Elementary Education from the University of Montreal and taught for three years in various schools across Quebec, working with students from kindergarten through fifth grade. These diverse settings have shaped a teaching practice attuned to each child’s needs, where differentiation, autonomy, and collaboration take center stage.

Passionate about language and communication, I am particularly interested in how children construct their ideas through speech and interaction. My training in philosophy for children and cultural mediation inspires me to create spaces for discussion where they learn to ask questions, argue their points, develop their critical thinking, and consider different points of view.

My artistic background also informs my teaching practice on a daily basis: I use tools drawn from drama and oral expression to build confidence and foster a love of learning.
