What teachers say
“Being part of the EBIHS team and community is a real privilege. The teaching staff is a close-knit team, a community that enjoys working together to support students in their development and learning. At EBIHS, thanks to the rich backgrounds and experiences of all staff members, there is a culture of sharing experiences, ideas, best practices, and the latest pedagogical research. Not only does this enrich our own development as teachers, but it also serves as an example to our students who better understand the importance of learning at all times, being open in their own thinking, and seeking out new experiences and adventures.”
Emilie Tarraf-Lescoffier Pedagogical Director“I came to EBIHS after working in a small rural school, and I didn't expect to find the same sense of family and community in an international school. The students' interests are truly at the heart of the EBIHS educational project, and each student is treated and valued as an individual. We have a great and supportive team, and working here has really allowed me to grow and develop as a teacher. I always have the opportunity to innovate in my teaching, which makes my job very satisfying! Working at EBIHS gives us a good work-life balance, and coming to school on Mondays is a real pleasure! EBIHS is a great place to work!”
Nerys Law Kindergarten teacher“For me, working at EBIHS is above all about commitment and wanting to leave a mark on the student community. Its values of “love, dare, imagine, work hard and share” have become a way of life that allows me to grow intellectually, emotionally and culturally. These values and the atmosphere of respect and tolerance that prevails at work make me very proud to belong to this entity”.

“Great experience for our 2 children (primary and middle school) on our return to France. Thank you to the teaching and administrative team for their kindness and professionalism. Most: emphasis on cohesion, group work, projects, and the parent community”
Isis Langlois (2025)« We wanted our children to have immediate access to and immersion in English culture and bilingualism from an early age: such important tools for the future. What a pleasure it is to see this school grow, even though we experienced it in its infancy. Bilingual teaching with quality, caring staff and the values transmitted are real assets in life-long learning. EBIHS is also the art of growing up well! »
Séverine Petilaire EBIHS parent“10 years ago, we discovered the bilingual school in Haute Savoie and were immediately seduced by the bilingual experience, the pedagogy and the philosophy of the school. So Elouan started kindergarten at EBIHS. 10 years later, he enters the 4th grade at the bilingual middle school, still as happy and motivated as ever. Not only has he become bilingual, but he has been able to really blossom from year to year, always with the same pleasure of returning to his school, his teachers and his friends. For us parents, there's another important point in addition to bilingualism: values that are essential to us and which are anchored and embodied within EBIHS: respect, “knowing how to be and living together”, solidarity, benevolence, curiosity and openness to the world, a spirit of cohesion and much more besides... All these values have contributed to making our child a happy teenager, at ease in his own skin and moving forward motivated with the constant desire to progress and realize himself fully and happily. A big THANK YOU to the whole EBIHS team! ”
Isabelle et Sébastien VALLON EBIHS parents“A remarkable school, both in terms of the quality of the teaching and the pedagogy. The teachers are very available to both the children and their parents. The values imparted are paramount in today's world; it's not just about learning but also about knowing how to behave. The many educational projects and the multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary nature of the school make it an invaluable place to live, and one that is ideally suited to helping children mature.”
Karine Le Garrec EBIHS parent“This school is just incredible! I'm impressed by the level of English already acquired in kindergarten, but also in other subjects such as learning mathematics ... The teaching team is attentive and very caring. I'm very happy that my children have been able to join EBIHS”.
Caroline GIRARD EBIHS parent“From kindergarten onwards, our children have been able to experience total immersion in English. The limit of 20 children per class allows for in-depth learning and better evaluation by the teachers. We particularly appreciate the school team, who look after our children so well. ”
Mr et Mme Saltel EBIHS parents"We chose the EBIHS for the quality of its teaching, the kindness of the teaching team, its openness to the world and of course learning English. It’s incredible to hear your children speak English so easily even though we are a 100% francophone family. We particularly appreciate that the bilingual school is a whole and offers a multiplicity of activities that allow children to know themselves and build themselves well from an early age. The EBIHS is also a community of parents that has allowed us to develop great friendships."
Stéphanie Pothier"We were very reluctant to bring our children to France at such an advanced age, with a very limited knowledge of the language. Lily joined the EBIHS in 2020 at age 14, a monumental change exacerbated by the arrival of COVID. From the beginning, the school showed understanding and support, all the teaching staff adapted to Lily’s needs and gave her the freedom to immerse herself in the language during all the lessons. This gentle and stimulating approach allowed Lily to gain confidence, learn the language and, in a pressure-free environment, eventually reach the academic level of her classmates in French! It was also nice to be part of a school that recognized the importance of language and, despite many restrictions, ensured that children were exposed to arts, travel, visits and participated in cohesion weeks. It was an incredible journey for her, she graduated with a wonderful class of friends, an academic level of which she can be very proud and many memories".
Melanie Wheatley Lily’s mother (class of 2022) who joined the college in 4th grade.“We chose to send our daughter to school at EBiHS in 2011 for her bilingualism and the very small section. Seven years have passed... and here is the bottom line: A particularly fulfilling young girl who loves school (her class, teachers and principals). All of Louise’s lovers have been exceptional. They were kind, they accompanied her in her development by respecting her personality and offering educational content adapted to her profile. Ms. Jager and Ms. Mondongou have always been attentive to our concerns and have been able to respond to them perfectly, both through their professionalism and their human qualities.”
Flore Peucelle Da Silva EBiHS parent“ An exceptional school where you not only learn to count, speak and read in English but also learn kindness, tolerance, difference. At the moment I have only my great schoolgirl at EBIHS and she has been lucky to have exceptional teachers and childcare assistants. It is a real budget to register your children here and I am well aware that my daughters will be privileged (and they too are aware of it:) but if you hesitate not for financial reasons then do not hesitate anymore. This school, its faculty and its three principals are high-flying. Thank you! ”
Coralie Spies (2021)“My daughter joined this school from the 1st year of kindergarten. Today in the third grade, not only has she acquired a very good level of English but the level of other subjects is equally good. His learning is totally fulfilling based on kindness. Students are lucky enough to be in classes of 20 and teachers always do their best to make them progress academically and evolve humanly. Enriching activities, tutoring and work in small groups complete their learning. The EBIHS is more than a classical school.... it’s also a school of life. I highly recommend.”
Loetitia Delsart (2022)“School or students are very well followed and supervised. A beautiful mix of countries that gives a beautiful open mind. The teachers follow and are interested in the students; the courses are of good standard. No strikes!!!”
Frederic Gave (2023)“Great experience for our 2 children (primary and middle school) on our return to France. Thank you to the teaching and administrative team for their kindness and professionalism. Most: emphasis on cohesion, group work, projects, and the parent community”
