Enseignante anglophone en maternelle

Born in Belgium, I grew up between Morocco, Belgium, and Rwanda. This exposure to cultural diversity has since shaped and enriched my worldview. After a year-long exchange program in the United States, I continued my university studies in Belgium, where I earned a master’s degree in Psychology and Educational Sciences.

Wanting to experience life in America again, I returned to the United States and settled in Florida, where I lived for over twenty-five years. I initially worked in training, first in a hospital setting and then for a software company. The birth of my three children led me to rediscover the world of Education from a new perspective.

I started by volunteering in Reading Instruction before being hired as a Teaching Assistant for children with special needs. Gradually, I also took on teaching roles and began my teaching career while working toward my FTCE certifications (Florida Teacher Certification Examinations).

Motivated by a desire to return to Europe and embrace a new chapter in my life, I arrived in Annecy. I worked as an English tutor before discovering EBIHS, whose multicultural spirit I particularly appreciate. I truly believe that working in Early Childhood Education, where everything begins, is an opportunity to create an environment that is playful, creative, and structured, allowing each child to experience the joy of discovery and learning.
