Assistante maternelle
Of Mexican origin, I studied to be a bilingual children’s teacher and worked for three years in schools in Monterrey (Mexico). Then I decided to become an au pair in the United States. I’d always wanted to learn about another culture and experience total immersion. I lived in New York for two years with an American family and looked after two children.
Working and learning in another country, being out of my comfort zone was an incredible work experience and personal adventure. I was able to work on my English and improve my teaching expertise.
Now I’m settled in Annecy to discover French culture, language and new ways of working. I have gained a great deal of experience in teaching and have found that this has led to many positive results for my students. An important part of my mission is to help students reach their full potential.
As my experience in bilingual schools shows, I am enthusiastic about education and always strive to do my best for my students. I’m delighted to continue my career with the EBIHS team!
