Natasha Worthington

Enseignante anglophone en maternelle

Having grown up in Chamonix with British parents, I have benefited from a bilingual and bicultural education, but also from the beautiful mountain setting that the region offers. I spent my youth between the ice rink and the ski slopes, and developed a taste for sports coaching and working with young competitors.

I followed the French education system until I was eighteen before moving to the UK to study French and Arabic at the University of Exeter. In order to share my passion for languages with others, I passed my CELTA (Certification for the teaching of English) in 2015. This allowed me to teach English as a foreign language and start my career as a teacher. After university, I combined my love of teaching with my experience as a sports coach by qualifying as a ski instructor in New Zealand.

After my travels, I wanted to bring my energy back into the classroom. I completed a Master’s in Primary Education and obtained my PGCE at the University of Roehampton in London in 2021. During this time, I taught the national English curriculum and returned to France from my PGCE. I worked in Geneva, specializing in teaching English to children. I moved to Annecy in 2021 and I am delighted to continue my career at the EBiHS since the start of 2022.
