Enseignante au collège : Mathématiques en anglais

After studying engineering in Toulouse and a PhD thesis at the University of Savoie in Annecy, I have been involved in various research projects in Singapore and then in Cambridge in the United Kingdom. It was in England that I decided to devote myself to teaching mathematics in English at secondary school. I joined the Researchers in Schools program, which aims to promote university studies among students from disadvantaged backgrounds and help them enter the most selective universities.

In parallel to teaching at a public high school in London, I passed my qualification (Qualified Teacher Status) as well as a university degree in education (PGCE) the University of Roehampton, where I was introduced to cognitive research on learning mechanisms in children and how to use them at school.

Back in Annecy, I am delighted to be able to continue teaching at an international, open and modern school like the EBIHS! My greatest joy in class is to see my students curious and confident in their abilities. For me, mathematics is a creative and rigorous subject, and I strive to put these aspects forward in my courses.
