Caroline Lethiers

Enseignante francophone en élémentaire

Originally from Auvergne, I lived a few years in the Paris region, then in the Alpes-Maritimes, before moving to the beautiful region of Annecy with my husband and my 2 children.

I graduated from a school of computer engineering where I worked for 9 years as a project manager, mainly for international projects in large groups. After this first career, I chose to retrain for a job that, as far as I can remember, had always been in one corner of my head: school teacher. In 2018, I took advantage of my parental leave to prepare for the competition as a free candidate and won first place. I then worked in National Education for 4 years, first in kindergarten and then in elementary school.

I am constantly looking to improve in my teaching and I am always on the active watch for innovations in teaching and pedagogy. Since obtaining my Master MEEF (Professions of Teaching, Education and Training), I have continued to train while practicing and I have thus obtained each year additional certifications: non-linguistic discipline, teacher refers to the uses of digital, bilingual education and ability to leadership functions.

Convinced of the benefits of immersion teaching, I am delighted to participate in the educational project of the EBIHS, well in line with my values.
