I was born and raised in Ukraine, where I developed a strong academic foundation and a deep commitment to education from an early age. I went on to earn a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature. Later on, I obtained an affiliation with the International House World Organisation (IHWO) – one of the most prestigious international teaching qualifications in the field.

In Ukraine, I had the privilege of not only teaching under this affiliation, but of directing the school itself, overseeing both its academic programme and day-to-day operations. This experience gave me a comprehensive understanding of education from multiple perspectives – as a teacher, a mentor, and a school leader.

My international career subsequently took me to Kilkenny College in Ireland, a well-regarded boarding school, where I spent two years teaching secondary school students in a structured and supportive environment. I then relocated to Oregon, USA, where I spent further two years working with teenagers, supporting their academic growth and broader personal development.

These experiences across three countries have equipped me with the ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds, to adapt my pedagogical approach to the needs of individual students, and to foster a classroom environment in which every child feels valued, confident, and motivated to learn.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in a belief in the holistic development of the child. I hold that education extends well beyond the acquisition of knowledge, and that the school environment plays a vital role in shaping young people’s confidence, resilience, critical thinking, and capacity for empathy. I strive to create a space where curiosity is encouraged, effort is celebrated, and each child is supported in becoming the best version of themselves.
