Hugo Milesi
Professeur de sport
I was born in Chambéry and grew up in Le Bourget-du-Lac. I’ve been involved in sports since I was very young, and I’ve been playing handball for over 20 years. Throughout my athletic career, I was fortunate enough to win the French championship three times, which allowed me to join the Chambéry Youth Academy when I started high school. During my time there, I had the opportunity to compete against teams from Switzerland, Germany, and Spain, as well as Tunisia’s national youth team.
After that, I played for several years at various national levels.
At the same time, I continued my studies at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sports Science (STAPS) and my master’s degree in Education. I also completed a civic service program at a handball club during this time, before beginning to coach youth teams.
I have been a physical education teacher at a bilingual school for three years, and I enjoy working in an international setting because of the diversity of cultures and backgrounds it brings together, as well as the enriching exchanges it fosters.
Through my teaching, I strive to instill as many of the values taught by sports as possible. It is essential to me to share my passion and inspire young people to participate in sports.
