Lorène Dupeuble
Enseignante francophone en élémentaire
After earning my teaching certification, I taught for four years in France before moving to California. San Francisco is where my passion for bilingual education truly blossomed: first with primary school children at the EFBA association, and then for eight years at Crystal Springs middle school.
Inspired by these eleven years of expatriation, I am thrilled to be teaching at EBIHS today, combining the high standards of the French system with the caring approach of the American system. Given my literary background, I particularly love fostering creativity and ‘writing for pleasure,’ alongside competency-based learning to highlight each student’s progress in a fair and positive way. Every day, the children’s enthusiasm and energy inspire me to continually design playful activities within this rich and stimulating bilingual environment.
Returning to France, we wanted to offer our three daughters a lifestyle closer to nature. The beauty of the Annecy region and the proximity to the mountains naturally drew us here.
