Enseignante anglophone en maternelle

I was born and raised in California. I hold a teaching credential from California and have worked for many years with young students in various settings—including teaching English as a second language.

For me, the early years are where it all begins. Kindergarten and first grade form a truly special bridge: the transition from discovery through play to those first fundamental skills—reading, writing, and basic math concepts. I believe in a child-centered, play-based approach that nurtures the whole child—their social-emotional development, fine and gross motor skills, and, above all, their natural sense of wonder.

My goal is simple. I want every child to feel safe, happy, and eager to come to school. Building on this foundation of security, I love to see confidence grow at each child’s own pace, driven by curiosity. Through hands-on experiences tailored to their developmental needs, I want every child to become an active and motivated learner in a classroom built on trust, mutual respect, and a love of lifelong learning.
