Planting the first tree: the future Sillingy campus takes root
Thursday, October 9, 2025 marked a key milestone for EBIHS with the planting of the first tree, symbolizing the laying of the first stone for our future campus in Sillingy.
This event brought together the political and economic players who have supported this project since its inception: elected officials, members of the EBIHS administration, representatives of parents and parent investors, representatives of the banks financing the project, management of Globalp, the general contractor and head of the companies involved, as well as various trades involved in the construction.
Journalists from Dauphiné Libéré and Essor Savoyard were present to cover this event, which marks the official launch of the construction project, following the earthworks carried out this summer.
The campus will be ideally located in Sillingy, right on the border with Epagny, in a green, peaceful setting close to fields and forests, while remaining accessible from the Annecy basin and major roads.
Led by SAS Sunflowers, in which EBIHS is the majority shareholder, the project was designed by architect Régis Rioton. It will provide 6,000 m² of modern and functional premises to accommodate up to 650 students, from kindergarten to ninth grade. There will be 32 classrooms, a motor skills room, a library and documentation center, a science laboratory, adapted playgrounds, and a communal dining hall.
This campus is much more than a real estate project: it is the future of our educative community.
