Constant Wiederkehr

Enseignant au collège
I was born in Strasbourg, in the Northeast of France. My passion for cycling led me to travel for internships and competitions during my teenage years, opening me up to new cultures.
I graduated from the University of Strasbourg with a degree in STAPS (Sciences et Techniques des Activités Physiques et Sportives), then went on to study sports marketing in Annecy.
My first professional experiences were in this field (internationally), but I soon realized that I was more interested in transmitting what makes me tick – practicing sports – than in promoting equipment.
As a runner and cyclist, I decided to train as a coach so that I could support other athletes in their passion and help them achieve their goals. At the same time, I had the opportunity to work as an educational assistant in a High School in Annecy.
As I enjoy being in contact with young people, and am convinced that physical activity can help them to feel happier, healthier and more confident… this role as a PE teacher is a logical next step for me!
