Growing up in the multicultural and multilingual country of South Africa, I was lucky enough to be bilingual from birth. I realized very early in my life that I had a great curiosity and passion for the discovery of languages and other cultures. This curiosity prompted me to leave my country at the age of 18 to first go learn German in total immersion in Austria, then discover the linguistic differences of American English in the USA, while discovering the joy of working with children as an au pair. 

Driven by the desire to transmit my love for languages to children and especially the little ones, I then worked two years as a teacher in Taiwan in a full immersion English language kindergarten with children from 3 to 6 years. 

I graduated with a double degree in communication (obtained in South Africa) and in foreign civilization literatures languages (Licence LLCE obtained in Grenoble), I worked for 6 years as an English teacher in French primary schools and extra-school.

I am currently continuing my vocational training in order to obtain my TEFL certification. My husband, our two bilingual daughters and I fully enjoy the jewels of the region (mountain, lake and nature) and are settled in Haute-Savoie for many years. I am a dynamic teacher who listens to her students and I am delighted to work with the EBiHS team.
