Cynthia Simard

Enseignante francophone en élémentaire
Born in Chicoutimi, Canada, I discovered France in 2000 during an Erasmus exchange program in education sciences.
I attended several campuses including the Sorbonne and did an internship in Auvergne. Having graduated from UQAC in 2004, I worked in my region of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean and honed my professional skills in several schools on the island of Montreal. Working at all levels and teaching to different audiences has developed my eclecticism on several approaches and educational strategies.
At 26 years old, my taste for travel and learning led me to do an intensive AEC in national and international tourism at the private college April-Fortier of Montreal. I learned a lot about the importance of bilingualism in life. The opportunity to return to France presented itself and allowed me to highlight my different skills.
Annecy is a beautiful city that reminds me of my region by its imperious nature. Living here brings me the joy of travelling every day through my teaching profession. Functional organization, renewed pedagogy and pleasure to learn are for me the key words to apply.
Having experienced Catholic private schools, I am happy to be part of the dynamic team at EBIHS since September 2013.
