Catherine Lapierre

Catherine Lapierre served for over 21 years as an officer in the French Army.

She exercised administrative and operational responsibilities in regiments, headquarters and military schools (Saint-cyr Coetquidan). She has held positions in various fields such as Intelligence, Training, Communication, Operational Management… She also served in external operations (Bosnia) as Chief of Staff.

Returning to her native Annecy in 2010, she completed her military career with the 27th Bataillon de Chasseurs Alpins. She then worked for almost 5 years in Geneva as an assistant and receptionist for major international companies.

With a background in literature, languages (English, Portuguese), European studies and local authority management, she was looking for a motivating assignment where she could put her organizational and interpersonal skills to good use in a dynamic, multicultural environment, where quality of service and team spirit were paramount. That’s why she applied to EBiHS.

The multi-faceted and central nature of the position of administrative assistant and receptionist are essential assets in her eyes.
