Caroline Lethiers
I was born and spent my childhood in the center of France (Auvergne). After that, I lived for a few years in Paris and a few more in the French Riviera before deciding to move to the Annecy area with my husband and two children.
I graduated with a computer science engineering degree and worked as a project manager for 9 years. I worked primarily on International Projects for large industrial companies. After this first experience, I made a career change and decided to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. In 2018, I prepared for the French National Education exam as an external candidate during my parental leave and came out first. I then worked as a teacher for 4 years, first in Kindergarten for one year and then in Elementary Level classes.
I always try to improve in my teaching and in order to do so, I actively monitor all the innovations in teaching and pedagogy. Since I got my Master’s degree in Education, I have continued to do training while employed. Thanks to my continued learning, I have received several additional certifications : IT Specialist, Bilingual Education and Certification as Head Teacher.
Convinced that teaching through immersion is the best way to develop both language and academic skills, I am happy to work at EBiHS, where I can teach according to my values.
