Japanese Lunch at the College
The students waited in anticipation for their lunch on Friday as a special Japanese meal was ordered in keeping with the theme of ‘Japan’, which was recently explored in Global Perspectives. A dish called Donburi, consisting of locally grown vegetables and rice mixed with all the good flavours of Asian cuisine, was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. A demonstration of chopstick technique by Mr Jarlov along with a few presentations on Japan by the 6ème made for a culturally unique and exciting lunch.
