Helping Hands for Refugees!
During the weeks leading up to the December holiday, the CE1 and CE2 classes worked together to collect clothes, stationary and hygiene products for refugees in Annecy. It was a big project involving lots of work and organisation from the students. By the end of the period, the students had collected so many donations that they had to be stored in the library. They only just fit into the car! On the last Friday of school, a very generous parent from CE2 drove the donations to the charity. Well done to all the children for such a successful and meaningful project! The students also worked to create a video encourageing their schoolmates to help collect donations. Check it out here on youtube!
