Butterflies and Fishes Explore the Forest!

Butterflies and Fishes Explore the Forest!

On Friday 15th November both Petite Section classes took a walk to the woods.

Whilst they were there they enjoyed building dens with sticks and branches, searching for natural things like leaves and moss during forest BINGO and ate their snack alongside some warming hot chocolate. They had a wonderful turn out of parent and grandparent helpers which made it really special for the children.

They were lucky with the weather, it was a beautiful cold, crisp morning and the sun made an appearance as they walked back to school. the forest was very muddy but the children didn’t mind, they got stuck in and enjoyed the experience immensely. As he lay down to sleep for nap time one of the little boys in the Butterfly Class said, ‘J’aime bien la forêt.’
