Biology 6e – “Field trip” in our courtyard!
It is not always necessary to go very far to make observations on nature! Indeed, the 6th graders were able to do a series of research and measurements this week, right in front of the college entrance door where there were ivy leaves just waiting to be measured!
The students have investigated variation in the size of ivy leaves in the shade and in the light. They had to gather their own data and so had to measure their own leaves. They then graphed the data that they collected and performed some calculations.
